Overview

Responsible for the daily supervision of all aspects of the outlet, and promoting excellent standards for customer service and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains appropriate staffing levels in the outlet, by assisting with interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and terminating Associates, as needed.
  • Provides customer-service-related assistance in the outlet such as assisting customers with selection and/or purchase, handling exchanges, redeeming complimentaries, and giving directions to various areas of the property.
  • Ensures that the work areas are neat, clean, and well stocked with supplies.
  • Utilizing effective communication skills creatively resolves problems in the outlet.
  • Responds to special requests of customers, as well as customer complaints and inquiries in a calm, prompt, courteous manner.
  • Assists in ordering and maintaining appropriate stock. Oversee the stocking and straightening of the assigned locations or store on a daily basis, including the re-stocking of merchandise from storage areas to the sales floor.  Ensure that all merchandise and product utilized in the outlet has been received, ticketed, and displayed neatly, accurately and securely.
  • Ensures a maximum level of customer service and satisfaction in the outlet is achieved and maintained.
  • Listen to, investigate and resolve any problems (internal or external), issues, complaints or discrepancies in a prompt and courteous manner. Ensure that any applicable information is forwarded on the other management team members.  
  • Plan, prepare for, train and participate in the monthly retail inventories.
  • Inspects merchandise, to ensure it is correctly priced and displayed.
  • Insure damages and transfers are processed weekly in the Stratton Warren System.
  • Adheres to established cash control policies and procedures of the company. Investigate any cash variations or discrepancies and report the findings to the management..
  • Held accountable, to a high degree, for the thoroughness and accuracy of departmental records, reports and miscellaneous correspondence under their control. Ensure the accuracy of paper work completed by associates in the shop, including the filling out and completion of comps and transfer of merchandise.
  • Leads by setting a positive example to all associates.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:    

 

Directly supervises Associates in the outlet on assigned shift. 

 

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training Associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

AGE and GAMING:

21 years of age or above.

Gaming property -- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED is required.  A minimum of two (2) years of previous retail experience is required. 

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or Associates of company.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

TESTING:

Must score at least 85% or better on a Basic Math test. Must take the required testing identified for this position.
