Macquarie Asset Management Platform Engineer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 13953 As a Platform Engineer on the Macquarie Asset Management Technology, you will partner with the Macquarie Asset Management business and take part in end-to-end solution delivery.

In this role, you will be a subject matter expert in our common platforms and contribute to their roadmaps and features, drive operational excellence and make the platforms easier for the broader community to consume. Additionally, you will work with our cloud control planes to integrate our platforms and the applications they support into the broader Macquarie cloud ecosystem and work in multiple hosting environments, primarily AWS and Kubernetes but also in SaaS platforms and GCP. You will develop and support APIs for our platforms, contribute to API frameworks and practices, and collaborate with other Platform Engineering teams to evolve the platforms and achieve enterprise-level synergies.

Salary range for this position: $125,000 to 165,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.

Ability to work in Python and Go to build pipelines and microservices, and experience with Unqork, Airflow, Containers/Kubernetes, AWS, GitOps/ArgoCD, Vault, GCP, Atlassian Working knowledge of databases, APIs and modern authentication/authorization Familiarity with Linux, Shell Scripting, load balancing and basic networking Ability to design solutions considering user experience, automation, security, performance, resilience, cost, scale and reusability Understanding of Design Patterns, Testing methodologies and overall SDLC, and have a comfort in proposing designs, gathering feedback from others, building solutions with reusability in mind, and documenting solutions.
