The Associate Talent Team at Morgan Lewis is committed to fostering associate success by facilitating best-in-class attorney recruiting, coaching, and professional development programs. Reporting to the Manager of Associate Talent, this position provides coordination and implementation of firmwide associate talent programs and offerings.

A highly collaborative, self-starter, natural relationship builder and people-person, the Associate Talent Coordinator position provides the opportunity for an experienced professional to work with the Associate Talent Team across a broad range of department functions, as well as with firm leadership on firmwide initiatives to advance our commitment to making Morgan Lewis a destination firm for exceptional associate talent.

This position can be located in Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York or Los Angeles and a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule is available.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key responsibilities of this position include:

Supports the Chief Associate Talent Officer and Manager of Associate Talent on firmwide associate initiatives to promote the recruitment, retention, and development of top legal talent.

Conducts research and data analysis to provide summaries and make recommendations on associate initiatives to Associate Talent leadership.

Drafts communications, reports, and presentations for Firm Management related to industry trends, Associate Talent key performance indicators, and other relevant items.

Coordinates and executes administrative aspects of internal initiatives, including firmwide mentoring program, attorney year-end evaluation and compensation process, and lateral associate integration offerings, amongst others.

Supports development and execution of firmwide survey strategy through administrative execution, project planning, materials creation, and external vendor communications.

Collaborates with marketing and other internal teams to support the development of the firm's brand in the market through internal and external branding and social media content.

Manages administrative support to the Global and Local Committees on Associates.

Maintains relationships and communicates with consultants and outside vendors.

Provides administrative and logistical support for team strategy meetings, associate talent roadshows, associate summits, and other Associate Talent meetings.

Executes the end-to-end process of video recording and editing for internal firm content.

Assists in tracking Associate Talent budgets and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenses by streamlining operations.

Participates in local and firmwide associate programming and events/activities.

Aids the greater Associate Talent Team's efforts (including Attorney Coaching, Attorney Recruiting, Professional Development, and CLE) as appropriate to further advance the team's objectives.

Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree required and a minimum of three years' experience in a professional services environment, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Legal industry experience preferred.

Ability to balance numerous tasks with tight deadlines and competing demands while maintaining quality and accuracy of work product.

Proactive, hands-on, self-starter with ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.

Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a wide range of individuals with differing opinions and diverse personal ties.

Strategic thinker with ability to translate concepts into actionable items and written reports.

Strong communication (oral and written) skills.

Ability to provide exceptional client service to internal and external clients.

Discretion in dealing with confidential information.

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.); and ability to adapt to new software programs as needed.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

For positions in New York, NY, the salary range for this job posting is: $61,639.00 - $98,622.00. For positions in Los Angeles, the salary range for this job posting is: $56,708.00- $90,732.00. For positions in Washington D.C., the salary range for this job posting is $56,708.00 - $90,732.50.

The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
