About The Role Essity offers the opportunity for you to join a business where you will undertake controlling activities across the full value chain (manufacturing, logistics, sales and marketing) for our B2B-area. We offer an opportunity for an experienced Business Controller to join our Professional Hygiene team based in Philadelphia.

Reporting to the Controlling Director for Professional Hygiene the Business Unit Controller analyses the financial performance of the Business Unit against predefined targets propose corrective actions to improve performance to support business targets and objectives.

What You Will Do  * Analyze complete financials in the Business Unit in Professional Hygiene. PH being a transatlantic organization mainly North America,Latin America and Europe.  * Support and analyze the financials of the Business unit in the PH organization with focus on North America.  * Contribute to monthly consolidation of the Financials (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and consolidation of long-term financial plans.  * Responsible for cost center analysis for the business unit  * Monitors and follow-up of the respective business performance and deviations.  * Contribute to defining reporting guidelines, instructions and content in alignment with Corporate Finance  * Conduct and communicate financial planning process in area of responsibility (Forecasts & Budgets)  * Participate in cross Business Unit Controlling Network activities  * Prepares and provides insights to the different Management Team in all operational financial aspects  * Follow controlling standards and other Essity policies such as Key controls and legal regulations  * Challenge and educate stakeholders outside the finance organization (financial trainings)  * Drive & support business projects as required

Who You Are  * A university degree in a relevant discipline (preferably finance or economics)  * A minimum of 3 years controlling experience at a similar level in a multi-national business  * Sound financial understanding and accounting know how  * Strong analytical and planning skills  * A high level of IT proficiency (Financial Consolidation systems, SAP, MS Office, and Business Warehouse)  * Demonstrated experience supporting and collaborating with internal customers on financial planning and cost analysis  * Strong team working skills with the ability to provide constructive challenge  * Strong presentation skills combined with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written  * A flexible and pragmatic solutions focused approach
