The Comcast internship/co-op program will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop strong interpersonal and business skills, gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a Fortune 40 media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network.

This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.

Organization & Team Overview

The Digital Experience Design team (DXD) is at the convergence of technological innovation, creativity, and opportunity at Comcast. We believe in the magical blend of art and science to create imaginative ideas, products, and services. With an entrepreneurial and collaborative approach, we craft omnichannel digital services and applications that deliver results for our business partners. We’re a team focused on digital experiences for our customers that are intuitive, innovative, and seamless.

The DXD Team under DXP (Digital Experiences & Platforms) is focused on the Xfinity.com experience. With a group comprising of Visual, UI & UX Designers, Writers, Conversation Designers and Project Managers, the DXD team sits within the DXP organization as the Digital Experience Design team, working with other DXP and Comcast partners.

Role Description

Are you passionate about organization, communication and keeping teams on track to execute beautiful design and digital experiences that feel effortless to navigate?

As a Digital project management Intern on the DXD team, you will be responsible for management of the process and workflow across multiple projects - including project planning, schedule development, facilitating meetings and reviews, and ensuring that all projects remain on track.

What are some interesting problems the student will work on?

In your role, you will Manage project requests running through the Digital Experience Design (DXD) Team, along with their related project timelines & resource needs. Clearly communicate timelines, deliverables, goals, and expectations with team members and stakeholders, and will document and communicate project status to teams on a regular basis to ensure all teams are aware of next steps and project milestones.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with stakeholders to define and document project scope and objectives.

  • Develop work plans, schedules, resource plans and status reports.

  • Lead project meetings.

  • Identify solutions that will best meet the teams needs.

  • Oversee and maintain project schedules.

  • Track, analyze, and report on project status.

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews.

  • Oversee the approval process across a variety of departments, stakeholders, and deliverables.

  • Work cross functionally to negotiate solutions with major stakeholders.

  • Implement and drive production processes and best practices, while consistently working to improve practices to drive efficiencies in production and budget.

  • Partake in key creative brainstorms and approval sessions.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment

  • Competence in leading and managing various types of projects

  • Excellent project management skills, highly organized and ability to multitask effectively

  • An interest in and/or experience with web development and CMS systems

  • An attitude that is proactive, analytical, and organized

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Preferred Majors: Business, Project Management, Operations, Advertising, Marketing, Design or Development, or related Majors

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university

  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)

  • Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)

  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025

  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Salary:

Base Pay: $23.00
