TEKsystems Credentialing Specialist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

A leading healthcare provider and hospital network in the Greater Philadelphia area is looking for experienced Credentialing Specialists to join their team!

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Performs complex, diversified administrative, clerical, operational and strategic functions.

  • Responsible for preparing and submitting credentialing applications and supporting documentation for the purpose of medical staff and advanced practice providers credentialing in accordance with regulatory standards and guidelines.

  • Ensure integrity of provider database

  • Works cooperatively and collaboratively with practitioners, their employer and office staff to facilitate the credentialing process.

  • Supports the FPPE/OPPE functions, including assurance of timely evaluation and collection of data. Manages assigned duties/ functions independently, maintain a high quality for detail and timeliness

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Associates

  • 2-3+ years of physician credentialing in healthcare, ideally within a hospital setting, but healthcare insurance is acceptable

  • Thorough knowledge of physician credentialing software, Joint Commission Standards, PA Department of Health regulations and PA State Board Medicine Licensure requirements
