Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic leader with a proven history in engineering and network infrastructure management. If you have the skills and the drive to excel, we want to hear from you!

As Director of Engineering & Network Infrastructure, you will lead a team in designing, building, and maintaining cutting-edge applications and a state-of-the-art network that powers seamless connectivity for visitors, athletes, and staff at the Wells Fargo Center and the Flyers Training Center. Job Description

What You'll Do:

  • Be the Tech Visionary: Partner with Comcast Spectacor leadership and Comcast Corporate IT to define the cutting-edge network and applications that power the future of entertainment.

  • Guide with Expertise: Serve as the trusted advisor to senior management, providing strategic insights for critical technical and engineering decisions.

  • Strategize and Deliver: Craft a comprehensive technical budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and successful project execution.

  • Empower Your Team: Lead and motivate your high-performing engineering team to achieve ambitious goals and deliver exceptional results.

  • Drive Performance: Monitor network and application health, ensuring peak performance that exceeds industry and company standards.

  • Make an Impact: Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly objectives, demonstrating your leadership capabilities.

  • Lead with Independence: Effectively navigate complex technical challenges with sound judgment and strategic decision-making.

What You'll Need:

  • 7+ years’ experience with in-depth knowledge of network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.

  • Ability to translate technology acumen to a nontechnical team.

  • Strong business partner and stakeholder background

  • Must have good people skills, working in teams and as an individual contributor.

  • Ability to describe problems clearly and concisely in both written and oral forms and communicate both orally and in writing in a clear, professional, and pleasant manner.

  • Self-motivated with desire for continuous learning

  • Knowledge of the following technical landscape: IP address management tools such as IP-Control or IP-Plan. Cisco Switch, Palo-Alto Firewall, and arena/stadium technologies are strongly preferred. Theatrical lightening, access control with CCTV, and windows servers.

Education/Experience We're Looking For:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Network Engineering, IT Operations, or equivalent job related experience/knowledge as determined by management preferred, but not required.
