EHR Integration Specialist

About our Team

As a part of the Customer Success team our team is focused on delighting the customer. We do this by providing critical clinically-focused implementation services, robust engagement and training programs and commercial readiness / go-to-market support. Our current customers include leading-edge, physician practices, hospitals, integrated health networks, and academic medical centers.

About the Role

We are seeking a proven successful self-starter with technical expertise in SaaS trends and key integration workflows. This role balances the understanding of Elsevier internal processes with how to deliver products effectively to customers. This role will develop and refine current protocols to ensure overall customer experience improvements. This includes discussion around technical specifications, system configuration and back-office system alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Grasping in-depth business models and business rules that guide each of the Clinical Solutions products

  • Understanding the varied access and entitlement methods available across the business

  • Translating that understanding at a client level, essentially matching the clients needs and technical nuances with what Elsevier can offer

  • Leading complex integration discussions with IT counterparts and stakeholders

  • Responding to customer requests regarding technical requirements and integration capabilities.

  • Identifying process improvements, recommend solutions, implement changes and sustain results.

  • Facilitating communication across multiple departments to ensure success of downstream functions.

  • Developing and refine process for enhanced features that drive retention

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts or equivalent experience

  • Experience with Healthcare IT Implementation support, project management and technical experience is valued.

  • Experience with Excel, Word, MS Project, and Visio required.

  • Experience with EHR Integration and/or work with interoperability to EHR vendors (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, etc.) is valued.

  • Have heavy IT (Client/Server applications, HL7, FHIR, OAuth, SAML, ADFS) knowledge and experience required.

  • Able to multi-task effectively within agreed upon deadlines.

  • Have experience with Single Sign On, embedded URL linking, Infobutton, SMART on FHIR, and others.
