DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Facility Reimbursement Technician, you will play a crucial part in our facility's financial processes. Your responsibilities will involve delving into the economic backgrounds of individuals and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and comprehensively. You will be responsible for compiling and completing admission assessments and meticulously verifying the financial qualifications of every new resident. Your role will also require you to closely monitor the application progress of incoming veteran residents, serving as a vital link between insurance companies and our residents. Alongside this, you will oversee the collection of maintenance fees, aid, and other essential payments. Furthermore, you will address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns relating to monthly charges, estate billing, and complaints through phone conversations and written correspondence, ensuring that all issues are handled with the utmost care and attention.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment; 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of experience involving public contact work in the billing and collection of financial accounts or debts; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Completion of college-level work with major course work in business administration, finance, accounting, health care management, or a related field may be substituted for required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
