Job Description

As a Financial Analyst in Global Supply Chain & GPO, you will be expected to work independently on supporting supplier marketing funds, identifying payment receipts, AR database entry, distributing monthly reports, reviewing monthly accruals, and assisting with Special Projects.

Job Responsibilities

Marketing:

? Monthly tracking of Marketing dollars utilizing an Excel spreadsheet

? Monthly processing of Marketing invoices

o Work directly with marketing departments

o Contact suppliers for approvals

? Monthly updates sent to various internal team members

? Monthly Reconciliation to the Deferred Account

A/R database:

? Maintain receipt of checks and electronic payments

? Analyze receipts for consistency and accuracy

? Enter cash receipts into the AR system

? Create monthly Special Payments schedule

? Income Tracking & Analysis

? Notify Business Analyst of any discrepancies between amounts received and amount invoiced

? Monitor receivable balance

? Scan and attach checks along with backup documentation

A/R database review and reporting:

? Monitor ER reports for proper posting and accuracy

? Monitor receipt of checks and electronic payments

? Analyze receipts for consistency and accuracy

Month End Processes:

? Review monthly receivables for accuracy

? Identify and make recommendations for projected accrual adjustments based on research

? Review monthly with Finance Director

? Month End Close process requires work to be completed during the last weekend of the fiscal period, typically about 8 hours

Backup duties: Daily check deposit and check bank account for electronic payments

Perform special projects and tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

? Bachelor's degree required with 1-2 years experience.

? Proficiency using a PC, including a working knowledge of spreadsheet software is essential.

? Good analytical, communication (oral and written), and organization skills are necessary.

? A strong detail orientation is a must.
