ARAMARK Finance Director in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Description

The Finance Director - International will provide financial oversight and support to the international business unit in achieving their financial goals of growth, profitability and cash flow. The role will provide a wide range of financial and operational analyses including forecasting, planning and analysis on monthly results. This role will provide comprehensive financial analysis, support and advice to the senior team. Responsible to represent regions to explain business results and coordinate initiatives with counterparts in the regions.

The individual will also develop ad-hoc financial analyses and reports that aid in evaluating business performance and identifying risk and opportunities, as well as new business/retention pro forma and deal memo analysis. Provide occasional support of M&A, transaction and due diligence activities. Provide support of strategic plans and initiatives.

In this position you will report to the Vice President of Finance International. Two Financial Managers will report to this position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analysis of monthly Forecast and Actual reports and associated variance analyses

  • Preparation of a number of senior management analysis and reports

  • Lead Annual Operating Plan process including review and assessment of AOP financial models and consolidating across regions and groups and preparing dashboards

  • Strategic and Business Plan development and support (including template development)

  • Provide updates to International leadership team on overhead spend, trends and opportunities

  • Operating Review support, including preparation/review of regional operating review documents

  • Support central investments group as liaison on new business/retention bids

  • Coordination between countries and Corporate functions

  • Driving key initiatives in support of the financial objectives

  • Operational support, including travel to the countries as required

  • Special projects including support of M&A activity and transactions, due diligence

  • Lead strategic initiatives including strategic plans and assessments of markets/geographies

  • Supporting corporate initiatives and deployment of certain applications in-country

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in Finance or a related subject. An MBA or a CPA (or foreign equivalent) is preferred but not required. Seven years+ of progressively more responsible finance experience required. Position requires strong analytical skills, focus upon details, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact with senior management and with people of different nationalities. Position requires good interpersonal and communication skills, sound judgment and ability to learn quickly, ability to adapt to new situations. Candidate should possess a strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Hyperion and Oracle experience is preferred but not required. Position may require up to 20% travel, including international travel.

This position will support global markets and therefore, candidates must be flexible with working hours to occasionally accommodate different time zones.

Proficiency in relevant languages is a plus.
