Reference #: R3099 Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Firmwide Attorney Recruiting Assistant. Reporting to the Director of Attorney Recruiting, the Attorney Recruiting Assistant will be responsible for providing analytical and administrative support to the firm's attorney recruiting leadership, including the lateral recruiting team, and the greater department more generally. This position will assist with the overall planning and coordination of the firm's summer associate program and law student recruitment programs, as well as with lateral associate recruiting and various special projects.

This position can reside in any of the following offices: Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Orange County, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle or Washington, DC and will have a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.

Responsibilities

Assist with all lateral associate recruitment efforts, including sourcing candidates, reviewing candidate materials, scheduling interviews, and supporting local office recruiters, as needed.

Support lateral recruiting team on all administrative tasks, including maintaining lateral hiring approvals, pulling statistics, and supporting any lateral hiring related surveys and projects.

Assists in the planning, execution and overall strategy of law student recruitment programs, including on-campus interviews, outreach events, Law School Alliance Teams, firm marketing materials, and supporting local office recruiters, as needed.

Maintain ViRecruit, the firm's applicant-tracking system, which includes being a key team member responsible for the functionality of the system, reporting, and troubleshooting.

Create firmwide data reports and Powerpoint presentations for various large recruitment meetings throughout the year.

Process expenses, schedule meetings, arrange travel for attorney recruiting leadership.

Perform various projects for Chief Associate Talent Officer, Firmwide Hiring Partner, and other senior members of the Associate Talent team including conducting market research as it pertains to policies and processes.

Collaborate with Human Resources on all aspects of Workday relating to the firm's recruitment, onboarding, and integration function.

Familiarization with firm systems and processes including those related to the overall talent space; manage the Attorney Recruiting intranet site, recruitment team site, and iManage Document Management System.

Work with marketing and creative teams on developing recruitment materials and branded merchandise.

Experience/Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.

Minimum of 1+ years of relative recruiting or Human Resources experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The successful applicant will also have excellent organizational skills; effective written and oral communication skills; the ability to take initiative and contribute new ideas; the ability to interact effectively with all levels of firm management and staff; the capability to exercise sound judgment and work well under pressure; the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities; and the ability to deal with confidential information.

Proficiency with ViRecruit, Symplicity, Workday, iManage Document Management System, SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as the ability to adapt to new software programs.

This position may require occasional travel to law schools and other Morgan Lewis offices, while also having the flexibility to work overtime, specifically evenings and weekends from May through October.

For positions in NY, New York and San Fr ncisco, CA, the salary range for this job posting is: $52,904 to $84,647. For positions in Washington DC, Los Angeles, CA and Orange County, CA, the salary range for this job posting is: $48,672 to $77,875. For positions in Seattle, Washington, the salary range for this job posting is $50,788.00 - $81,261.25.

The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
