Pennoni Associates Inc Graduate Landscape Architect in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Pennoni is currently seeking a Graduate Landscape Architect to assist on multi-discipline public & private site development projects while based at our office in Philadelphia, PA . This position will primarily support Project Landscape Architects with the development of design, permitting, and construction plans (for both land development and municipal projects).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare land development documentation.
  • Review landscape plans and coordinate planning services.
  • Contribute to the preparation of site plans, grading plans, utility plans, stormwater management reports, erosion and sediment control plans, construction details, and applications.
  • Perform limited field inspection (as needed).
  • Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed.

Basic Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture; recent graduates are encouraged to apply!

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to working on greenfield / land development projects is a plus!
  • Experience contributing to large-scale master planning projects (especially with developing detailed construction plans as well as site / grading / planting plans) is a plus!
  • Proficiency with MS-Office 365 (e.g.: Outlook, Excel, & Word) is expected; exposure to relevant design & CADD software tools (e.g.: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Cloud, LandFX, etc.) is a plus!
  • Working knowledge of modeling programs (e.g.: Sketchup, Lumion, and/or Revit) is a plus!
  • Working knowledge of ArcGIS is a plus!
  • Ability to work in an energetic & challenging environment on a variety of projects.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
