Defense Contract Management Agency Industrial Specialist (General) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities Serves as an Industrial Specialist (General) for DCMA HQ Enterprise Analytics and Modernization, Industrial Analysis Division. Performs Industrial Capability analyses on multiple weapons systems sectors. May serve as the Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP) Action Officer in support of the Industrial Analysis Division. Evaluates Defense Industrial Base (DIB) facilities and capabilities, provides training, outreach and education, and assesses how they can support facilities in hardening their operations. Participates in other reviews such as: Integrated Product Teams, Source Selection Evaluation Boards, and Performance Risk Assessment Groups. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for an Industrial Specialist (General), your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Assessing industrial and technological capabilities and financial viability of industries supporting the acquisition, logistics, readiness and homeland defense programs. Identifying the essential skills, processes, facilities/equipment, and technologies required to design, produce, upgrade, and maintain weapon systems, sub-systems and key sub-components. Implementing overall plan for Analytical Products and Industrial Capability Assessments of a wide array of weapon systems. Contributing to or developing innovative techniques and improvements in industrial base methods and processes within an organization. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level. Financial Disclosure Required Acquisition, Technology & Logistics (AT&L) NON-CAP: Position requires DoD Acquisition Engineering & Technical Management, Practitioner acquisition certification within required timeframes.
