About the Role
As the Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity Legal Content Analyst, your roles and responsibilities will be the following:
Design, own, and execute the content upkeep process for the Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity practice areas
Perform legal research and editorial tasks associated with updating existing Practical Guidance content
Monitor current awareness and stay abreast of changes in law
Draft or revise content, including templates, practice notes, and checklists
Oversee and execute Practical Guidance content remediation projects focused on improving the customer experience
Acquire a firm understanding of editorial processes / style guidelines and enforce best practices
Improve operational effectiveness by standardizing and streamlining processes, creating documentation, and making recommendations for continuous improvement in editorial workflow
Meet or exceed production and quality requirements
Participate in training as required and perform additional tasks as assigned
Requirements:
The successful candidate for this position must:
Have a Juris Doctorate degree and two+ years of practice experience in mergers and acquisitions
Demonstrate strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills
Be adept at maintaining an organized workflow while ensuring accuracy through close attention to detail.
Have knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style and Bluebook citation rules
Be able to prioritize and meet critical deadlines
Be flexible and adaptable to changing business demands
Show interpersonal and communication skills
