As a risk management generalist at PwC, you will provide advisory and practical support to teams across a wide range of specialist risk and compliance areas.

Minimum Year(s) of Experience

10 year(s) Minimum 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance, transparency reporting, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role

Preferred Knowledge/Skills

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts, identifying and addressing client needs:

  • Develop and sustain extensive client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities;

  • Prepare and present complex written and verbal materials;

  • Define resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, collection;

  • Direct and manage end-to-end implementation and ongoing operations of global transparency programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements;

  • Act as the subject matter specialist on transparency and compliance standards, including the U.S. Sunshine Act, EFPIA, and other local and regional transparency requirements across key markets;

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a global team of professionals across various functional areas, including compliance, legal, IT, and data management.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement;

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on transparency initiatives and fostering proactive communication to support compliance goals;

  • Evaluate, design, and refine global transparency reporting processes to enhance efficiency and compliance, focusing on best practices in data collection, aggregation, and reporting;

  • Oversee the technical landscape of transparency solutions, collaborating with IT to ensure systems and platforms meet regulatory and operational needs. Drive initiatives to integrate and improve data management, workflow automation, and reporting systems;

  • Identify and address risks related to compliance, transparency, and data management, ensuring robust controls are in place to mitigate potential issues;

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on the status and effectiveness of transparency programs to senior leadership.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the U.S. Sunshine Act, EFPIA, and other international transparency reporting regulations. Experience with both U.S. and global reporting requirements is essential;

  • Strong familiarity with data management and reporting systems, as well as experience working within or overseeing technical teams that implement transparency and compliance solutions;

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional, global teams, with a track record of successfully implementing large-scale programs and achieving measurable outcomes; and,

  • Ability to develop long-term strategies to optimize transparency processes and drive business objectives while remaining adaptable to changing regulatory environments.

The salary range for this position is: $142,500 - $317,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
