Job Summary

Responsible for the creation and optimization of supply and production plans for equipment and related materials across the enterprise. Responsibilities include overseeing the creation of the plan, and the monitoring of key performance indicators to ensure quality and production requirements are being met. Provides subject matter guidance to employees as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies. Assists in development and meeting of departmental budget.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement and manage strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels and achieve cost objectives.

  • Execute on agreed sales and operations planning (S&OP) process, securing alignment of key matrixed cross functional teams (both field and corporate).

  • Develop requirements for system enhancements to existing planning applications and/or system integrations as new tools are introduced.

  • Ensure the planning teams are adhering to agreed master data management (MDM) policies to ensure a common understanding, consistency, accuracy and control in the ongoing maintenance and application use of information.

  • Collaborate with the supply chain operations team to support an effective vendor management model of 3rd party logistics providers.

  • Leverage established Supply Chain systems, processes, and tools to focus on effective materials management, planning, forecasting, network optimization, and transportation management.

  • Manage large performance improvement projects to increase production quality and capacity; Effectively communicate all project timelines, deliverables, and risks associated with the stand-up and deployment of the operation.

  • Develop shortand long-term plan for capacity needs that seek to minimize total costs while maintaining service levels.

  • Support the development of repeatable, and thus scalable, plans and processes in order to speed time to market and improve operational efficiency.

  • Contribute to the hiring, training and onboarding of new planning analysts and Sr. analysts into the supply chain team.

  • Advanced working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems or proven ability to learn new systems quickly.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
