Actalent Manufacturing Technician in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Manufacturing TechnicianJob Description

Responsible for the support activities and disinfection of GMP space, equipment, and associated areas involved in the manufacture of Master and Working Cell Banks, within production facilities involved in the manufacture of Cell & Gene Therapy products and final product fills according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and clean equipment.

  • Prepare solutions and materials.

  • Understand and apply aseptic technique concepts and proper cleanroom behavior.

Essential Skills

  • Manufacturing experience.

  • Aseptic cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection skills.

  • Ability to perform sample preparation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • 1-2 years of relevant or equivalent experience within a cGMP environment.

  • Experience with aseptic cleaning and sterilization.

Work Environment

Aseptic manufacturing environment requiring full gowning. Holiday and shift work often required based on manufacturing schedule as determined by Management. Must be able to wear appropriate clean room attire (i.e., surgical masks) and all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Shift options are Sunday – Wednesday or Wednesday – Saturday, 4:00 pm – 2:30 am. Rapid advancement is based on performance rather than tenure.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
