DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Role description: This is an exciting career opportunity for a self-motivated engineer to lead small to mid-sized structural project teams on a variety of Water, Wastewater, and Resiliency Projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong working knowledge and experience in the structural design of Water and Wastewater Facility Structures including above and below ground concrete tankage, one to two story process support structures, and associated equipment pads and pipe supports.

Role accountabilities: As an essential member of the design team, lead all aspects of the structural design for new water and wastewater facilities and upgrades to existing facilities, resiliency evaluations and design, and structural assessments, as well as performing senior level technical/ design tasks. Other responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: * Supervising and leading small to mid-sized structural project teams/resources * Overseeing completion of technical work by team members * Providing technical guidance/mentoring to team members * Managing project budgets and schedules * Performing quality reviews of calculations, drawings, and specifications * Oversee completion of assigned structural projects and produce deliverables on schedule while meeting/exceeding both Arcadis and client technical and quality standards. * Coordinate structural work directly with a variety of engineering disciplines, office / project staff, clients, and sub-contractors, throughout the project life cycle, including construction phase services. * Some travel may be required to support projects, as needed.

Required Qualifications: * 10 years of experience in structural design of water and wastewater facility structures * Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field of study. * Licensed in NY, NJ, PA, CT and MA or the ability to complete necessary requirements to achieve licensure within 6 months.

Key Skills and Attributes: * Experience in leading successful structural project design teams and mentoring junior staff * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. * Understanding of, and experience with, REVIT, BIM 360, and Bluebeam. * Experience and proficiency with MathCad, Tekla Tedds, Enercalc, RISA, RamStructural System, RamAdvanse, and/or other similar structural software.

Preferred Skills: * Master's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field of study * Structural Engineer (SE) license

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $183,000.
