Account Engineer Locations:   Mid-Atlantic region - NY/NJ/PA/MD/DE/DC/VA Schedule:   Mostly remote but onsite in Philadelphia once every week or two Travel:   20 to 30% Salary:$120,000 - $135,000

Main notes: * Account Engineer for Risk Engineering Group - specifically within the property risk engineering team * 5+ years' Risk Engineering experience - someone who's come up as a Field * Risk Engineer but is now managing as an Account Engineer * Experience with Large Property Risk Assessments * 90% is account engineering focused * 10% traditional risk engineering in the field * Client facing experience * Working closely with underwriting

Description: Company's Risk Engineering Property East Team is seeking an Account Engineer with large property highly protected risk (HPR) experience. This role will primarily include account engineering responsibilities. This is a work from home role, positioned within Washington D.C, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware or Eastern Pennsylvania. This role has expected travel at 20%.

Responsibilities: * Assess the quality of complex risks as described in the appropriate standard(s) and related competency level and assess loss potentials in accordance with agreed definitions. * Support external customers by identifying, and reducing the risks that they face individually, and on an overall account basis. * Provide appropriate risk improvement advice, conduct loss investigations (including both trend and root cause analysis), and implement risk improvement programs. * Share technical expertise with colleagues, business partners and customers through training delivery or participation in a Centre of Expertise or industry segment. * Produce work that complies with Company standards, in terms of technical quality of policies and procedures. * Anticipate, recognize and respond to the needs of customers by providing expert solutions and training to key customer(s), * Contribute to Business Operation Profit through opportunity spotting and cross selling. * Develop and maintain positive customer and business partner relationships and collaborate with both customers and Business partners to develop appropriate service plans. * Resolve technical issues, problems and projects in reference to policies and procedures within a specific function or unit.

Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area OR * High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area OR * Company Certified Apprentice, including an associate degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area AND * Experience working in a team environment

Preferred: * Advanced Microsoft Office skills * Advanced knowledge of exposures controls * Advanced knowledge within industry segment * Certification in area of specialty; Risk Engineering
