Responsibilities

Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations. of as companies assigned Financial reporting for all companies assigned - remove - duplicated below Oversee and assist with month-end closing processes including but not limited to commissions, carrier reporting, and other miscellaneous reporting. Prepare, review and approval of journal entries, account reconciliations and bank/credit card reconciliations. Assist in the preparation and review of timely and accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements. for several small entities. Complete and monitor daily cash reports and discuss exceptions in a timely manner. Assist the Controller with the month-end accounting close. Remove - duplicated above Review inter-company transactions and manage reconciliations between separate companies. Support financial audits and assist with conducting other audits. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Requirements

5+ years of accounting experience. Bachelor's in Accounting required. Insurance and/or Third Party Administrator Automotive experience required. Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles. Able to work independently and solve problems related to data discrepancies. CPA or CPA eligible preferred but not a requirement

Estimated Min: $70000 Estimated Max: $90000
