DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Our Valuation Services prepares objective valuations for financial reporting, tax and management planning purposes. Senior Associates work on a variety of assignments, including business enterprise valuations, purchase price allocations, intellectual property valuations, stock option valuations, and dispute consulting.

Day-to-day responsibilities:  * Performing valuation analyses (enterprise, equity, asset-level) for a wide range of public and private entities within various industries using accepted and relevant approaches and theory  * Managing client engagements from day-to-day interaction with the client through to staffing and managing the resources and work plan through to timely completion  * Designing and modifying financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction, option pricing, and intangible valuation analyses  * Reporting and presenting analyses and conclusions including writing valuation reports  * Contributing directly to the development of proposals, presentations, and publications  * Working with internal management in building and maintaining client relationships  * Helping recruit and develop junior staff

Essential Traits:  * Bachelors/ Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or MBA  * Professional accreditation or progress towards ASA, CFA, ABV, CPA, etc. designations is a plus  * Minimum 3 -5 years of constructing and reviewing valuation models and other financial models including: DCF, comparable company, stock option, and intangible asset models  * Prior practical experience in finance (private equity, audit, valuation, M&A, other), is a plus  * Prior practical experience in the Energy industry (renewable & conventional power, utility, clean energy technology & services, and oil & gas sectors), is a plus  * Commitment to obtaining outstanding results  * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills  * Experience working with diverse teams  * Knowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
