Our Workforce Experience Team is hiring a Senior Instructional Designer to join their team on a temporary to possible permanent basis in Canada. This team at EPAM helps clients realize digital transformation by identifying and bridging gaps in employee knowledge, behaviors, and mindset. We design, develop, and implement a variety of solutions for online and in-person learning—including videos, articles, podcasts, interactive eLearning, coaching, experiential learning, instructor-led training, and assessments—using the latest insights from the learning sciences. Responsibilities
Analyze learning needs and design engaging, interactive learning experiences that enhance the learning process and are aligned with learning objectives
Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify the learning needs of the target audience
Collaborates with client stakeholders on learning design and methodologies for project delivery by communicating the value of different modalities
Use instructional design methodologies to develop engaging and interactive learning content, including storyboards, scripts, audio, video, simulations, assessments, and visual aids
Visualize instructional graphics and the learner experience by working collaboratively with graphic designers and multimedia developers to create a compelling and innovative end product
Develop assessment methods to measure the effectiveness of learning programs, elements, modules, or courses and gather feedback from learners and stakeholders
Manage multiple learning projects simultaneously, ensuring tasks are completed within the agreed timeline, budget, and quality standards
Partner with and maintain regular communication with SMEs, project management, and colleagues throughout the project
Stays current with emerging learning trends, adult learning principles, and learning technologies
Requirements
More than 5 years of instructional design experience and developing learning programs
More than 3 years of experience using learning and multimedia development tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Vyond, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc
Expert knowledge of instructional design methodologies including but not limited to the ADDIE model, SAM, backward design, e-learning, human-centered design, and interactive learning experiences
Experienced in stakeholder management and working with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of seniority
Advanced knowledge of assessing learning and program impact as well as knowledge of adult learning theory and multimedia principles
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a team with highly skilled and engaged colleagues
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, work independently, and meet strict deadlines
A flexible mindset and agile approach to deliverables. Ability to adopt a style to engage with different kinds of stakeholders
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Resilience and ability to work under time pressure and manage workload and priorities

Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $65 - $75 per hour.
