A Brief Overview Develop strong understanding of CHOP culture, enterprise initiatives and clients' functional lines of business to supplement Human Resources / Organizational Development expertise. Cultivate and maintain positive, productive working relationships with client leaders; become trusted advisor. Consult on a wide range of organizational, operational, leadership and management matters to help leaders advance strategic solutions. Design and deliver tools & resources; facilitate and large & small group sessions to improve talent management, engagement and other aspects of organizational health. Lead HR team; effectively collaborate with HR colleagues to effectively assess and address recruiting & retention, compliance, compensation & benefits, HRIS & analytics, employee / labor relations & performance management, training & development. Uphold values, service standards and behaviors in support of organization's vision & mission.

What you will do Provides superior organizational development consulting services to advance the clients' organizational needs. Designs and delivers wide range of strategic, business, leadership and management services. Identifies barriers to success; develops & implements appropriate interventions to support change. Manages HR function for assigned client areas for improved managerial effectiveness, positive employee relations, compliance with applicable regulations, policy interpretation & procedure administration consistent with fair & just culture. Ensures high-quality service delivery for recruiting & retention, compensation & benefits, reward & recognition, engagement, performance management, training, development & career pathing. Monitors the work environment, identifying employee relations trends, issues and areas for improvement to promote a positive work environment- provides leadership and direction to their Business Partner Support team to respond to the client needs. Serves as mentor to the manager, strategic business partner and business partner roles. Consults with leaders to assess current state, consider available options and integrate HR / OD programs, practices & resources into client areas; partners with leaders to foster an atmosphere conducive to engagement, retention & productivity. Coaches and supports executives, and senior leaders and management in leadership, business strategy, HR/OD-related areas. Assists in introduction, facilitation, deployment and tracking of talent maps, succession plans and related materials. Participates and/or leads committees and work groups charged with implementing enterprise, department and/or client-based improvement initiatives. Provides change management, organizational and operational support to implement business process improvements. Actively engaged in HR Department; key contributor to HR Community of practice; participates in committe s, project teams and other initiatives in support of HR goals & objectives. Facilitates enterprise, HR and client-based communications between, among and across client portfolio. Partners effectively with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations & Support and other functions areas to ensure high-quality service delivery, consult, plan & implement enterprise-wide programs, policies and initiatives.

Education Qualifications Bachelor's Degree HR, OD management or related area Required Master's Degree Preferred

Experience Qualifications At least seven (7) years progressive HR/OD experience Required and At least three (3) years experience in supervisory capacity Required Experience in Healthcare, within Nursing and Advanced Physician Providers Preferred

Skills and Abilities Strong business acumen with excellent internal consulting skills; ability to plan, manage and prioritize professional services across a diverse client portfolio. Familiarity with healthcare a plus. Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to quickly develop rapport, build and manage productive relationships. Advanced conflict management, negotiation skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels with clarity, discretion and diplomacy. Strong critical thinking skills; demonstrated ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and differing points of view, exercise sound judgment and decision making. Strong leadership development, coaching, training, facilitation & presentation skills. Credible from entry-level to executive level across diverse audiences. HR Generalist with demonstrated knowledge of HR body of knowledge and competencies.

Licenses and Certifications SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) - Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) - upon hire - Preferred or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) - Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) - upon hire - Preferred or Professional Human Resources (PHR) - HRCI - upon hire - Preferred or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) - HRCI - upon hire - Preferred
