STV Incorporated Senior Signal Designer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Reference #: JR2907 STV is looking for a Senior Signal Designer to join our Systems Department in our Philadelphia office, with remote working. In this role, you will provide guidance in the design and installation of signaling systems for Light Rail, Heavy Rail and Commuter Rail transportation and infrastructure projects. You will ensure that signaling systems are implemented efficiently and meet safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, review, and approve signal system layouts and specifications for transportation projects.
Develop and review CADD drawings for Signal Projects.
Develop Construction Cost Estimates for Signal Projects.
Provide support during the installation and commissioning of signaling systems.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Troubleshoot signaling system issues.
Assist with testing, validation, and optimization of signal systems for operational readiness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
15 years of experience in signal system design, installation, or maintenance within the transportation industry.
Strong knowledge of signaling technologies, safety protocols, and industry standards.
Proven ability to work in a Team environment and meet tight project deadlines.

Compensation Range:$112,253.66 - $149,671.54
