DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: JOB DESCRIPTION The position of Senior Vice President, ESIS Specialty is responsible for leading the claims management and business leader for the ProClaim and Accident Health Divisions of ESIS, Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chubb Insurance. This position reports to the ESIS President.

This position is preferred to be an in-office position. The preferred location is Philadelphia, but other ESIS offices will be considered.

Core duties: * Responsible for all ESIS Specialty Claim processing and claim management activities. * Provides guidance and support to ensure timely, accurate and efficient claim handling leading the team in resolving claims, establishing, and enforcing best practices, policies, and procedures, and ensuring regulatory compliance with all applicable laws. * Manages Specialty Claims financial results including: the P&L (Profit and Loss); expense management, management of new business and renewal revenues and monthly forecasting. * Leads the strategic direction and initiatives of Specialty Claims (General Liability, Professional and Management Liability, Medical Malpractice, Product Liability, Environmental and Accident and Health) through effective thought leadership while driving innovative initiatives all designed to support client's needs. * Acts as the Executive Sponsor and primary point of contact between the Company and our Customers. * Advises ESIS leadership on strategic claim business development and planning issues. * Drives initiatives that elevate the key differentiators for ESIS Specialty of depth of technical expertise, dedication to service excellence, and ultimately delivering outcomes for our clients to reduce their total cost of risk. * Develops and maintains relationships with key insurance carriers and broker partners to promote the value of ESIS claim service. * Aligns with Home Office technical and Field Management Support staff to continually elevate claim handling skills and training initiatives. * Actively engages in technology solutions that drive efficiencies and effectiveness throughout the organization. * Proactively interacts with clients focusing on service strategies, deliverables, and outcomes. * Supports the strategies for Partnership Services and Sales aimed to drive profitable growth and client retention. * Develops and executes strategic staffing and talent management strategies. * Ensures claims operational activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, internal and external audits, compliance and privacy policies and procedures. * Leads claims team in integrating data analytics with customized solutions for client specific outcomes. * Heavily involved with the handling of large and/or complex claims, ensuring appropriate stakeholder coordination and execution. * Ensures appropriate delivery of claim reporting regarding performance outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS * In depth knowledge of TPA business model * In depth knowledge of the product lines offered and the ability to produce and profitably manage the claims process * Experience in leadership and management roles of large and complex service models. * A minimum of 10 years of experience in leading a claims function for multiple businesses * Experience in managing claims and professionals in multiple lines of business. * Advanced customer orientation * Understanding of predictive models and data analytics, and the ability to operationalize for claim outcome and client service results. * Strong presentation and negotiation skills.  * Involvement in industry associations and forums. 

The pay range for the role is $165,000 to $280,500. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors.
