Numerous Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support our Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I) efforts. What Work You Will be Responsible For:

Assists with providing oversight on client's day-to-day accounting and budgeting function including, but not limited to, coordinating accounts receivable and payable functions, and remitting appropriate payments to applicable taxing organizations.

Works with supervisors to manage the month end closing process and prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

Researches operational accounting issues as appropriate; works with supervisors to formulate resolution of issues identified. Assists in identifying client issues and manages day-to-day relationship.

Supports technical accounting consulting projects helping clients with technical accounting and financial reporting matters (e.g., new accounting standard implementations)

Assists supervisor in reviewing monthly funding requests together with underlying supporting documentation from client accounting teams.

Troubleshoot accounting questions from client accounting teams (e.g., on coding of invoices and purchase orders, accounting reports, etc.).

Assist supervisor in reviewing management reporting packages, including actual versus budget analysis.

Assist supervisor in reviewing bi-annual budgeting packages, including reasonableness of cost drivers and data verification of actuals data used.

In collaboration with supervisors, manages special projects related to client accounting functions, including but not limited to evaluating, recommending and implementing appropriate improvements to the client's internal accounting processes and internal controls to ensure that practices are in-line with the overall goals of the client and industry best practices.

Informs engagement lead of the status and other pertinent aspects of the engagement.

Recommends new approaches, resource tools, deliverables, policies, and procedures to impact continual improvements in departmental efficiencies and services performed.

Builds and maintains trusted and effective working relationships with a diverse group of team members, clients, managers, and subject matter experts.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.

1+ years of accounting experience related to an intermediate level of accounting processes and reporting is required.

CPA license preferred; ability to obtain CPA license is required.

Professionally and appropriately communicate with a diverse group of individuals. Display effective leadership skills.

Have a positive attitude and work well independently and with teams.

Be technically proficient with the capability of performing at an intermediate or advanced level with software tools including, but not limited to, the Microsoft office suite of products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).

Have capacity to perform at an intermediate or advanced level with respect to financial management and budgeting software applications, such as MRI, Nexus, Onestream, Netsuite and Quickbooks, etc.

Preferred Location:Atlanta

For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between78000 and90000 The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
