STV Incorporated Summer 2025 - Architecture Intern in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Reference #: JR2797 STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Architecture Intern to join our Buildings team. This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office. Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months and can work full-time.
Responsibilities: Assist in the initial design phase and contribute to detailed architectural design work for projects in collaboration with various disciplines, clients, and consultants. Support the preparation of architectural plans under the supervision of senior architects. Assist in the analysis of design and construction systems, planning studies, design layouts, and construction details. Participate in site and construction inspections to gather information and assist in preparing interpretive reports. Aid in executing code analysis, material selections, and technical solutions. Contribute to analyzing design and construction systems, design layouts, and construction features by researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned projects. Coordinate with other disciplines to support project integration and cohesion. Assist in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and managing project work under supervision. Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support project goals and team objectives. Required: Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture.
Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in Rhino, 3-D Max, Sketch-up is a plus and LEED Accreditation. Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction management industry.
Compensation Range:$40,874.00 - $54,498.00
