Our team is currently looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service. This is a fabulous opportunity for a knowledgeable, hardworking technician to apply his or her skills in our production facility located in Northeast Philadelphia. In this role, the successful candidate will work in coordination with the shop supervisor and other senior management to ensure that all manufacturing equipment is fit and welded to the specifications of each job and meets outlined requirements. They will work closely with other team members to meet company goals. Our company offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including laundered uniforms.
Job Requirements:
- Basic math skills with ability to read tape measure
- Good vision , hearing, smell and balance
- Extensive knowledge in welding and fabrication

``` - Strong ability and in-depth knowledge of common welding processes, uses of jigs, fixtures and other template equipment, physical dexterity for welding and fabrication processes and blueprint interpretation - Competent general inspection of weld joints, common welding processes, and the ability to be proficient in most areas of general welding fabrication including: - TIG, MIG, and STICK welding processes - Sanitary welds - Bridge port - Lath welds - Drill press - CNC welding - Welding components in flat, vertical or overhead positions - Operating safety equipment and using safe work habits - Must be willing to work overtime and Saturday as needed
Minimum Requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without reasonable assistance
- Must be able to frequently push, pull, kneel, stoop, bend and reach
- Walking on a continual basis
- Standing on a continual basis
- Use of both hands and arms
- Cold Food manufacturing storage environment. Production rooms are kept at a constant 32 degrees (and below in certain areas). Ability to withstand cold storage temps for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in a Safety Sensitive Position.
