Description We are in the process of hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves managing all aspects of invoice processing, check runs, and ensuring they are delivered as needed. It also involves building and maintaining the AP manual and AP accruals. The position is a contract to hire employment opportunity with the potential for long-term engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Process check runs and ensure they reach their intended destinations on time

• Develop and maintain the Accounts Payable manual for reference and guidance

• Assist with Accounts Payable accruals and provide necessary support

• Utilize accounting software systems effectively to carry out tasks

• Apply skills in Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions

• Handle data entry tasks with precision

• Process checks and manage any discrepancies that may arise

• Work independently with confidence, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400

• Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in Check Processing

• Proficiency in Data Entry

• Ability to handle and resolve Discrepancies
