As an Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will play an integral role in managing and executing engineering projects for the Military Fixed Wing (MFW) team. Be part of a team driving the development and delivery of innovative propulsion engine solutions to our customers, specifically for F124 and F125 Turbofan Engines product families. In this role, you will be accountable for guiding cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders, coordinating engineering and project activities, and ensuring successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will partner with world class engineers and leaders to develop program plans, schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.

  • Leading and managing cross-functional engineering teams to successfully execute projects

  • Developing and implementing project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets (EVMS management)

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives

  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies

  • Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to stakeholders

  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

  • Owning and supporting Export Licenses, TAA’s, STA’s and other related agreements for the execution of multiple engineering work streams

  • Serve as a focal for Export Compliance workstreams for the group

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

  • 4+ Years of experience in project engineering, project management or related role

  • Strong project management skills

WE VALUE

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools

  • Experience in the aerospace industry or related is of value, but not required

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
