Assembly Mechanic Level 2
As an Assembly Mechanic Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for assembling and testing mechanical components and systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will contribute to the success of our manufacturing processes.
You will report directly to our Assembly Supervisor and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the production process by assembling and testing mechanical components and systems. Your ability to follow assembly instructions, troubleshoot issues, and perform quality checks will ensure that our products meet the highest standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assemble mechanical components and systems according to assembly instructions • Test and inspect assembled products to ensure quality and reliability • Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues or defects • Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes and test results • Work with cross-functional teams to improve assembly processes and efficiencyBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL

YOU MUST HAVE
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and blueprints • Attention to detail and ability to perform quality checksWE VALUE
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly
• Experience with precision measuring tools and equipment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing ethics
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
