Job Summary


Under the direction of the Facility Security Officer (FSO), the Deputy Facility Security Officer (DFSO) assists in organizing, directing, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of personnel security credentialing and clearance processes for TriWest. The DFSO provides support in technical and policy areas related to Personnel Security Investigation and access to Department of Defense (DoD) and TriWest systems. This role ensures compliance with security policies and procedures while managing day-to-day security operations.

Education and Experience


Required:

US Citizenship Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Business Management or related field or equivalent experience 4+ years of experience as a CSSO/FSO within an currently active secured space Experience initiating, reviewing, completing, and monitoring security questionnaires in eApp Supervisory experience in a corporate environment or similar setting Project management training or equivalent experience

Key Responsibilities


Assists the FSO in coordinating personnel security credentialing activities with Human Capital, Information Security, Information Services and other internal departments managing of process to provide to applicants that will ensure rapid and smooth data entry and processing upon hire. Responsible for the activation and deactivation of access of internal and external uses to TriWest, business partner and Department of Defense (DoD) systems. Acts as alternate point of contact of applicable Governments security programs. Assists FSO in partnering with internal departments to ensure that TriWest personnel complete appropriate background and security checks in accordance with the relevant system manual. Responsible for Managing and maintaining the process of corporate Personnel Security Investigation (PSI) packages, including communicating with applicants about errors and omissions, retaining sensitive records in accordance with DoD record management policies, and daily document shipments. Responsible for Managing the document control and program asset management. Supports a team size of up to 4 FTE. Performs other duties as assigned. Regular and reliable onsite or remote attendance is required.
