Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Fall 2024 Semester (09/03/2024 - 12/15/2024)
Course: English Composition
This is a writing-intensive course in writing academic prose, including various types of essays, arguments, and constructions.
What You Will Do:
Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
What You Will Bring:
Minimum: PhD in Composition OR
Writing OR
Professional Writing OR
Rhetoric
Preferred: Master’s in Composition
Writing OR
Professional Writing OR
Rhetoric
Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Master’s in any field AND 18-graduate credits in English AND substantial work experience
