EXOS Exos Fit Virtual Group Exercise Instructor in Phoenix, Arizona

Job Summary:

EXOS has been developing a new virtual solution to enhance our coaches ability to engage and impact employees of our current and future clients. This solution ultimately will be a critical part of an omni-channel delivery system for our coaches. Taking learnings from our onsite teams grassroots efforts as well as client and consumer research we have created a technology tool that will bring capabilities such as virtual 1:1 consults, on-demand classes, EXOS developed programs, live-streaming events, Mindset, Nutrition, Movement & Recovery content, and other features to help participants intelligently achieve their goals.

Responsibilities Overview

We are seeking group exercise instructors to join our elite team and deliver world-class experiences through a digital livestream platform. In addition, you are committed to upgrading the lives of those in a high-profile corporate wellness environment. Above all, you value the power of fostering community and recognize that the experience you deliver is about more than just physical movement.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Experiences- Provide an overall world class experience to participants (“members”)

  • Lead classes- You skillfully lead users through multiple digital classes weekly while demonstrating proper movement quality to ensure maximum levels of success for all participants.

  • Build Community- Leverage your presence and platform to grow your network of users who regularly attend your class. You take ownership of your audience, and you understand the value of consistency. You facilitate opportunities for progress and confidence building to all users in your classes.

  • Develop Skills- Continuously seek out opportunities to learn and grow. You attend all required training, and utilize internal education resources to stay on the cutting edge in the industry. You welcome feedback and dialogue around your own performance, and work to build off of your strengths.

  • Represent the EXOS Brand- Proudly represent the team during meetings, video, and special events. You clearly articulate the scope of service delivery to users in a creative and thoughtful manner.

    Our Ideal Candidate

    You demonstrate the desired skills, behaviors, and mindset to create and deliver effective programs and experiences digitally to users globally. You must be able to work in a collaborative, fast-moving, and ambiguous environment while managing time effectively and be willing to lead a task or project to completion.

  • Experience with group fitness class instruction

  • Experience with on-screen virtual class delivery and content production

  • You deliver articulate and effective communications

  • You inspire and motivate others

  • You develop an inclusive environment in person and digitally

  • You are motivated by being part of a team

  • You are adaptable and able to adjust on the fly without getting tripped up

  • You have strong customer service skills where servicing the “client” is top priority

  • You have energy and passion for helping others achieve their personal goals

  • You are able to work independently with little daily supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience actively leading successful group exercise classes in a digital/virtual environment

  • Current nationally accredited group exercise certification (e.g. AFAA, ACE, ACSM, NETA) if necessary

  • Current CPR/AED certification (First Aid certification is strongly desired)
