Compensation and Schedule for the Hospitalist Physician Coder

Hospitalist Physician Coder – Contract, remote, $35 per hour, Monday – Friday, start-time at 7:00am or 8:00am AZ time. Join a fast-paced and positive work environment!

Required Qualifications of the Hospitalist Physician Coder

  • 5+ years of recent E/M coding experience required

  • 2+ years of recent specialty coding experience required

  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required

  • Must work in Arizona time zone hours

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Responsibilities of the Hospitalist Physician Coder

  • Assign ICD-10 and CPT codes to medical records and accounts

  • Complete coding for all accounts on a timely basis

  • Follow up on all accounts
