Position Summary
Do you want to make a large impact in your next role? Join CVS Health, a Fortune 5 company, as the Lead Director of the Center of Excellence (COE) for Pricing Operations. This position is responsible for the delivery of transformational initiatives, leading high impact process and system enhancements, setting price operations standards, maintaining operational key performance indicators (KPIs), and conducting internal audits. You will lead a high impact team of financial and data-minded talent. You will coordinate solutions and partner with Account/Sales, Finance, Underwriting, Audit, and Analytic leadership to deploy pricing initiatives to maximize value and transparency for the enterprise. You will ensure solutions are aligned to Enterprise initiatives. You will have an eye for execution and process optimization, and work to drive continual improvement in our pricing operations.
You will be expected to deliver initiatives that drive perfect quality in drug pricing, and ensuring that the nearly 100 million Caremark members have access to the drug at the right price at their pharmacy.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will:
Lead initiatives that significantly increase the productivity of the Pricing Operations teams, establish industry transforming pricing strategies, and maintain the highest accuracy in drug pricing
Mature key performance indicators (KPIs) to manage operations
Maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external partners, including analytics, underwriting, account/sales, and audit teams
Display outstanding process and project management skills, including coordinating activates across diverse departments and ensure that contributions across different teams are lined and integrated as part of overall delivery
Demonstrate outstanding written and oral communication skills, including developing and presenting strategic plans and presentations to executive and technical audiences with the goal of obtaining feedback and alignment on project goals and delivery strategies
Show exceptional judgment, discretion and confidentiality
Proven analytical skills to work with IT leaders in developing the futuristic solution
Required Qualifications
10 years experience in healthcare industry with experience in price management, optimization or modeling. 5 plus years experience in leading transformational / innovative programs
5 plus years experience in managing operational teams in finance function
8 plus years of exceptional project and program management skills, with a proven track record of managing and prioritizing multiple simultaneous initiatives to successful completion.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior PBM knowledge
Proven capabilities improving internal processes to demonstrate accuracy and transparency in financial management
Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau skills
Education
Bachelor degree from accredited university required
Master’s degree preferred
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,500.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
