Honeywell Lead Project Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona

As a Lead Project Engineer – Aerospace Technologies here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and managing engineering projects within the Aerospace industry. Your expertise in project management and coordination will ensure the successful execution and delivery of aerospace projects, while aligning them with business goals and customer requirements. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and work out of our location in Phoenix, AZ on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our Aerospace business by driving operational excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, and delivering high-quality results in the aerospace industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Lead and manage aerospace engineering projects from initiation to completion

-Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders

-Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation

-Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

-Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards

-Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact aerospace project delivery

-Provide technical guidance and support to aerospace project team members

-Prepare and present aerospace project status reports to stakeholders

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

-Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics

-Minimum 10 years of experience in aerospace project engineering or related roles

-Proven track record of successfully delivering complex aerospace engineering projects on time and within budget

-Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic aerospace environment

-Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, including change and risk management

-Passion for innovation and continuous learning in the aerospace industry

-Attention to detail and ability to prioritize aerospace tasks effectively

WE VALUE

-Experience developing gas turbine engines

-Experience with repair and overhaul of gas turbine engines

-Master’s degree in a technical discipline

-Customer and product support experience
