Shifts: 2nd Shift.

Employment Types: Temp to Hire.

Pay Rate: $33.00 - $35.00 / hour

Duties:

  • Maintain complete maintenance records and PM schedules for all equipment and facilities.

  • Recommend equipment modifications to improve the process, productivity and finished product quality.

  • Analyze performance issues related to equipment. Tear down, inspect and replace components as needed.

  • Troubleshoot all electrical and mechanical equipment to define root cause and repair in a timely manner.

  • Install and maintain electrical control systems and solid-state equipment.

  • Modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, and systems to correct functional deviations.

  • Maintain spare parts inventory to minimize downtime and expense to the company.

  • Design, measure, analyze, implement and control (DMAIC) mechanical process improvements.

  • Practice continuous improvement concepts in all aspects of equipment and facility maintenance.

Position Requirements:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Must possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • PLC knowledge preferred.

  • Ability to read electrical diagrams.

  • Ability to read machine drawings.

  • Advanced understanding of Fluid mechanics (hydraulics & pneumatics)

  • Experience in MIG and TIG welding (food grade welding knowledge a plus)

  • Extensive experience with precision tools such as micrometers, Vernier & dial calipers, dial indicators, levels, gauge blocks.

  • Experience with sheet metal fabrication preferred.

  • Able to work effectively in the following environments: cold, hot, wet, high areas.

Requirements: Background Check, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 50 pounds., required education: Associates Degree.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $33.00 - $35.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
