Are you a person who enjoys product marketing? Do you have exceptional project management skills? This position will be a part of our Electromechanical (EMS) Group within ASSA ABLOY, located in the Phoenix Metro area, and reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing Communications. The EMS Group manufactures a broad range of access control and power supply technologies that provide security to commercial and industrial buildings.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

  • Develop and implement product launch plans, commercialization activities, and content for the marketing implementation of new products. Work with engineering, product management, and sourcing teams on new product development initiatives. Resolve roadblocks and ensure timelines of new product introductions in accordance with target launch dates for optimal sales performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop the overall product marketing strategy for assigned product categories to meet sales and profit objectives.

  • Manage event marketing at national trade shows, local meetings, and regional events.

  • Provide support for advertising, PR, email marketing, social media, collateral, catalog, and price book development. Assists designers to keep websites current.

  • Write marketing materials that contain engaging product content, and ensure the marketing concepts coincide with the company's brand standards. Can critically review layouts and graphics, copy, and digital marketing.

  • Monitor industry trends and analyze current and past marketing data to help determine overall marketing strategy. Research and analyze the competition.

  • Use business systems to complete assignments. Contribute to efforts in identifying and implementing improvements.

  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

You have experience in marketing with a thorough understanding of project management. You excel in communication and keeping track of details.

    Educational Requirements, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience

  • Strong project management multitasking and time management skills. SAFe A gile experience a plus

  • Sense of ownership and passion for all areas related to events marketing

  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills

  • Strong PowerPoint skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively interact and influence at all levels of the organization

  • B2B experience

    Supervisory Responsibilities :

    This is a professional-level, non-supervisory position. Depending on the project, this position often coordinates multi-functional teams.
