Description

We are searching for a meticulous Property Accountant to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves the management of financial operations for properties, ensuring accurate records, and effectively dealing with financial queries. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain financial records for properties accurately

• Efficiently process and review financial packages

• Regularly review bank requirements and conduct reconciliations

• Handle high-volume cash properties and provide necessary instructions or teachings

• Conduct financial statement analysis as required

• Oversee the financial aspect of around 30 buildings

• Engage in effective communication for resolving customer inquiries

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary

• Ensure accurate processing of customer credit applications

• Utilize Yardi software as necessary for property accounting processes

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Property Accountant or similar role

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and accounting software

• Familiarity with property management and leasing

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

• Experience with financial reporting and taxation in the real estate sector

• Ability to perform bank reconciliations

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

• High level of integrity and dependability.
