Location: Remote (EST hours)
Are you an experienced QA Analyst passionate about delivering high-quality customer-facing web applications? Our client, a leading American electric power and natural gas holding company, is implementing an enhanced solar interconnection request process through the PowerClerk SaaS platform. This project focuses on streamlining interconnection applications, reducing errors with automation, and enabling faster system changes.
We are seeking a QA Analyst with a strong background in manual QA/UAT testing and experience working on large enterprise applications in an Agile team environment.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $34 - $44 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Review requirements and develop comprehensive test scenarios, cases, and scripts.
Define, collect, and document testing data to ensure complete coverage.
Identify, log, and review defects while maintaining traceability between test cases and requirements.
Maintain and retire test cases/scripts after the project is completed.
Ensure testing standards and methodologies are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
Review test results to confirm they meet the entry and exit criteria.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing requirements are aligned with regulatory guidelines.
Support future platform enhancements and evolving regulatory requests post-implementation.
Experience Requirements:
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of manual QA/UAT testing experience.
Desired Skills:
Experience with QTest or similar testing tools.
Testing customer-facing web applications.
Exposure to large enterprise systems.
Business analysis experience is a plus.
Knowledge of PowerClerk, Jira, or CRM applications is advantageous.
Working Hours:
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.
Application UAT testing and deployments may require additional hours.
Preferred Attributes:
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
Agile team experience.
