Job Description-Project Scheduler

Job Overview: As a Data Center Project Scheduler, you will play a critical role in the successful planning and execution of data center projects. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, coordinating resources, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to communicate effectively will be essential in driving project success.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Project Schedules: Create detailed project schedules outlining tasks, milestones, and dependencies using project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.

Coordinate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements, define deliverables, and establish timelines.

Resource Allocation: Identify resource requirements for each project phase and work with resource managers to allocate personnel, equipment, and materials accordingly.

Monitor and Track Progress: Regularly monitor project progress against established schedules, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and proactively take corrective actions to keep projects on track.

Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project schedules and objectives.

Communicate Status Updates: Provide regular status updates on project schedules, milestones, and risks to project stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and meetings.

Drive Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project scheduling processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that project schedules adhere to quality standards and best practices, and that all project documentation is accurate and up to date.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or related field. Proven experience as a project scheduler or similar role, preferably in the data center industry. Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools. Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with keen attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.

Compensation: Constructiv is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual salary for this role based in Phoenix, AZ is $89,800.00 – $134,600.00. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.

Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
