[Job Description: [[Under general supervision, employee is responsible for assisting in the administration and performance of accounting activities in a manufacturing environment, including the facilitation of continual improvement of cost accounting systems and contributing to the maintenance of the general ledger and payroll system. Other duties involve assistance in the supervision of accounting department personnel and participating in the preparation of periodic financial reports.

Collect and analyze data about operational costs;

Assure accuracy of product unit cost (M,L,O) supported by labor time studies and actual/average costing rolled to standard cost;

Recommend changes to the companys processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit;

Validate the accuracy of bills of material (BOM), and bills of operations (BOO, Travelers);

Ensure accuracy of standard costs;

Calculate inventory obsolescence and inventory reserve adequacy;

Reconcile customer inventories held in-house off-site;

Reconcile applied labor and overhead with payroll expense;

Track CCS Cycle Count accuracy and provide periodic reporting on results;
