This is for a full-time (40 hours/week). Schedule is Monday through Friday any 8-hour shift to be determined by the hiring manager between the hours of 8am to 6pm MST.

The Senior Clinical Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service. Supports the team in meeting clinical and service goals. The Senior Clinical Administrative Coordinator will be asked, at times, to complete outbound calls to members for survey purposes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Meet Quality, Productivity and Attendance requirements

  • Making outbound calls to members and provider offices

  • Maintaining accurate documentation

  • Being responsible for any follow-up work needed for resolving and closing issues

  • Identifying and resolving anticipated Provider issues to prevent future calls

  • Maintain proficiency in all technical applications (technical skills and system knowledge)

  • Comply with all current policies, procedures and workflows

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma /GED (or higher) OR 4+ years of experience working n the healthcare industry or with health insurance

  • 2+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer problems

  • 1+ years of experience working in the health care industry

  • 1+ years of experience working with medical terminology

  • 1+ years of experience in an office setting using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform the job duties

  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency including the use of MS Word, Excel (create, edit, save documents), Outlook (email and calendar management), and multiple web applications, to include preparing and/or formatting office documentation needed for various audiences

  • Must reside in Maricopa County and have the ability to attend onsite monthly and/or quarterly meetings

  • Access to a designated quiet workspace in your home (separated from non-workspace areas) with the ability to secure Protected Health Information (PHI) and Live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Preferred Qualifications

  • A clerical or administrative support background

  • Knowledge of Medicaid and or Medicare population

  • Bilingual English and Spanish

  • Demonstrated effective organizational skills and scheduling skills as observed in day-to-day work

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times

  • Able to handle sensitive issues with members and providers in a confidential manner

  • Demonstrates initiative in achieving individual, team, and organizational goals and objectives

  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to use community and network resources to meet members' needs
