Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project/Program Manager with expertise in Data and Cloud to lead and manage end-to-end data platform projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the successful execution of cloud-based data solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of scalable and efficient systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in technical project or program management, with a focus on cloud-based data platforms.

  • Proven expertise in Snowflake architecture, features, and administration.

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Data Factory, Synapse, and Azure Blob Storage.

  • Familiarity with data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing concepts.

  • Proficiency in SQL and understanding of data modeling principles.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies.

  • Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance standards for cloud platforms.

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.

  • Oversee the execution of project tasks and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Manage project deliverables, ensuring quality standards and compliance with requirements.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align on project goals, status, and deliverables.

  • Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

  • Address stakeholder concerns and ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Monitor project challenges and ensure timely resolution of issues to minimize impact.

  • Adjust plans and priorities as necessary to address unforeseen challenges.

  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.

  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in Snowflake, Azure, and cloud technologies to recommend innovations.

  • Certifications (Preferred):

  • Snowflake SnowPro Certification.

  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer).

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
