Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project/Program Manager with expertise in Data and Cloud to lead and manage end-to-end data platform projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the successful execution of cloud-based data solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of scalable and efficient systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Technical Skills:
7+ years of experience in technical project or program management, with a focus on cloud-based data platforms.
Proven expertise in Snowflake architecture, features, and administration.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Data Factory, Synapse, and Azure Blob Storage.
Familiarity with data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing concepts.
Proficiency in SQL and understanding of data modeling principles.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies.
Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance standards for cloud platforms.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
Oversee the execution of project tasks and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Manage project deliverables, ensuring quality standards and compliance with requirements.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align on project goals, status, and deliverables.
Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Address stakeholder concerns and ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor project challenges and ensure timely resolution of issues to minimize impact.
Adjust plans and priorities as necessary to address unforeseen challenges.
Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in Snowflake, Azure, and cloud technologies to recommend innovations.
Certifications (Preferred):
Snowflake SnowPro Certification.
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer).
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
