Koniag Data Solutions, a Koniag Government company, is seeking a Human Resources Analyst to support KDS and our government customer in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

The Human Resources Analyst will provide personnel support for Human Capital (HC), Military Personnel, Civilian Personnel, administrative, and manpower. This includes support for planning and administration of civilian personnel management and manpower programs including manpower planning, support the development of Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) development and maintenance, support Manage to Budget activities, administering civilian personnel programs, and maintaining the organizational structure of the JPEO. Specific duties include:

  • Support the development and implementation of a Human Capital (HC) strategy, as well as the associated plans, policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Support the integration of HC planning principles and practices into current workforce planning initiatives.

  • Develop analyses for current and future workforce requirements, recruitment, training, and retention strategies.

  • Support coordination and assist conduct JPEO A&A climate surveys.

  • Support coordination and facilitation of JPEO A&A-wide workforce planning and competency management processes, process improvements, and tool development.

  • Provide statistical analyses, metrics, trends, and forecasts of current workforce demographics and workforce requirements.

  • Support the G1 on all HC and employee development matters.

  • Monitor the attrition and civilian hire lag.

  • Notify to the JPEO A&A G1 Director when workforce problems arise and recommend corrective action(s).

  • Assist in the management and implementation the HC portion of JPEO A&A Strategic Plan.

  • Coordinate and execute Leadership level initiatives.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business from an accredited University

  • 5 years of experience in human resource management

  • Military experience preferred

  • Must have worked in the US for the past 2 years

  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
