Avera Trained Medication Aide (TMA)/Home Health Aide in Pipestone, Minnesota

Pipestone County Medical Center and Family Clinic is currently seeking to find a Trained Medication Aide/Home Health Aide to join our growing team. We are committed to providing high quality services to our southwest Minnesota community.

Job Duties:

This position will provide direct patient care in the residential hospice house. They also provide services

necessary to maintain the Hospice Residence in terms of the patient care and family care environment.

The Home Health Aide assists the Registered Nurse in providing care to patients by assisting with

personal care and some homemaking.

Position Qualifications:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; Minimum 6 months experience in

TMA position preferred. One to three months experience in home health preferred. Must complete

and maintain certification and training requirements as established by the Minnesota Department of

Health for Registered Nursing Assistants and Trained Medication Aides, which includes remaining active

on the Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant Registry. CPR certified or must be obtained within 1 week

of hire. Certification as a Trained Medication Aide required.

The starting hourly pay for this position is $21.97 per hour. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
