Job Title: Facilities Engineer

Job Description

As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting complex mechanical/electrical problems and determining corrective measures by referring to blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, parts catalogs, etc. as necessary. You will recommend production/process equipment or fixtures for purchase based on their ability to meet organizational needs. Your role includes performing root cause/failure analysis and developing recommendations to prevent reoccurrence, developing and managing reliability plans, ensuring CMMS is accurately maintained and compliant to SOPs, developing and managing equipment reliability metrics via the CMMS, and managing the organization/filing of internal/external service documentation. Additionally, you will assist with the development and maintenance of facility 5-year plans, maintain a safe and clean working environment, be on-call 24/7 for complex facility issues, manage all aspects of project execution, estimate project costs, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.

Hard Skills

• Project Management - Managed entire projects from concept to implementation, with experience handling projects up to $2.5 million

• Engineering Design - Detailed process knowledge

• Manufacturing or GMP experience

Soft Skills

• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems

• Strong communication skills

• Effective stakeholder management
