Description

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team in the Piscataway, New Jersey area. This role will involve the processing of payroll for a large number of employees across multiple states. You will be required to have a comprehensive understanding of various payroll systems, including UKG, and be proficient in handling both union and non-union payroll. This role offers a hybrid schedule but you must be commutable to Piscataway, NJ at least three days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Process multistate payroll using UKG system

• Handle both union and non-union payroll operations

• Conduct Payroll Tax Reconciliations

• Manage Timekeeping duties

• Ensure adherence to payroll laws and regulations across multiple states

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems effectively

• Administer 401k - RRSP Administration

• Carry out general Accounting Functions

• Use UKG Pro and UKG Ready for various payroll tasks

• Manage Payroll Taxes and other related duties.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Payroll Specialist role or similar within the manufacturing industry

• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems for payroll processing

• Knowledge of Ceridian and Kronos Timekeeping System

• Experience in 401k and RRSP Administration

• Ability to handle various accounting functions related to payroll

• Familiarity with UKG Pro and UKG Ready software

• Understanding of payroll taxes and their application

• Experience in handling union payroll is preferred
